Meta is looking for the highest caliber executive leader to lead key channels for Meta’s revenue growth in India, and to spearhead the company’s strategic relationships with global brands, agencies and partners. We are looking for an exceptional people leader with a track record of delivering success across organizations, with a deep passion for demonstrating the value of Meta in empowering the business community in India. As the Director of Global Business Group, you will have a deep understanding of market opportunities, a personal connection with marketing leaders across verticals, a proven ability of having adopted digital for own and partner business success in multiple scenarios, and will create an inspiring vision to set objectives and run day to day operations. The role leads the strategy and delivery in the India sales organization focused on the large accounts, and reports to the Director & Head of Ads Business. Reporting into the role are the Vertical Sales and Solutions teams, and the Agency teams. The role is based in Gurgaon/Mumbai, India and travel may be required across the country with occasional international travel.
Director of Global Business Group, India Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Meta's large accounts strategy and operations to ensure growth and achievement of objectives across major clients in all key industries in India - Ecommerce, CPG, Auto, Financial Services, Media, Travel, Professional Services, Education, Healthcare, Telecom, Tech & Electronics etc.
- Build and Scale industry wide narratives to drive customer value creation
- Lead a team of senior leaders managing a set of industries/agencies as well as a large group of industry managers, and motivate around the twin axis of Meta’s mission and customer value delivery
- Manage revenue performance by providing timely and accurate forecasts, and by actively managing the pipeline of opportunities
- Drive the Media Agency and Advertising Agency partnership agenda with structural interventions to scale Meta’s play through the agency ecosystem
- Shape digital agenda with large consulting organizations and PE funds
- Personally build and maintain relationships with senior marketing leaders and increase advertising share with them through Meta solutions
- Collaborate with Product marketing teams to drive delivery of product agenda and lead Solutions teams to deliver customer value
- Actively participate in the Ads business Leadership Team and be an active member of key global teams
Minimum Qualifications
- 20+ years of demonstrated relevant experience in marketing, media, digital or technology and proven experience in managing large sales and marketing operations
- Experience in successfully leading large, geographically distributed teams, and comfortable managing senior people leaders, and building high performing teams, characterized by a culture of inclusion and a growth mindset
- Experience in hands-on operations while being in a leadership role, and ability to scale with strong process orientation
- Experience communicating effectively, collaborating and influencing strategically across cross-functional partners at all levels in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic abilities with proven trend spotting and data analysis skills and the ability to insight and solution these into opportunities
- Proven and consistent track record of executing against aggressive growth strategies and delivering against targets
- Experience in B2B and/or B2C Marketing roles
