Design Engineer-Piping

• The Piping Designer produces 3D Modeling in Plant 3D, 2D layout, arrangement and fabrication drawings of the company's products and equipment assembled on skid and of the interconnecting facilities of the plant inside company scope.
• Ensure that the drawings and documents output from the Plant 3D and P&ID Software comply with the client standards and business requirements. Continuously improve outputs based on lessons learned and the state of the industry and the state of the art.
• Must be able to effectively communicate, organize and be efficient in time management with a team of engineers from multiple disciplines. High levels of decision making, organization and planning is required to be effective.

• Essential Responsibilities / Expectations
• Design layout in 3D models of equipment, piping, structures and instrumentation for the entire plant and or insider a skid in Plant 3D. AVEVA E3D fair knowledge is optional.
• Provide safe operation and access for operators of the package.
• Minimize fabrication cost through optimization of pipe and cable tray routing.
• Follow international standards and project specifications.
• Assure designs are ready for review and comments are correctly resolved.
• Produce detailed drawings for both proposal and project requirements.
• Ensure that fabrication drawings clearly present information to the shop floor.
• Produce and ensure quality and consistency of common piping deliverables including Isometrics, Piping GA's, Tie-In Details and Plot Plans.
• Undertake MTO duties when necessary and assists with the preparation of presentation material, such as videos, animation and plant views.
• Resolve issues during fabrication, such as physical clashes.
• Review drawings produced by others.
• Engage in the mark-up of P&IDs.
