Job Purpose
Analyse and integrate the sales forecast from respective region, manage FG inventory for the region by independently assessing the integrity of the forecast and assumptions, documenting gaps, analysing past trends to prepare rolling demand forecast
Accountabilities
I. Collate and process sales forecast as per the standard process to ensure timely forecasts are sent to Head for review
II. Perform the forecast review process to identify errors, highlight deviations in order to continuously improve the demand forecast accuracy
III. Execute the demand forecasting process for new product in coordination with sales, IPD, CPM etc. to estimate the demand both pre and post launch
IV. Track and monitor key metrics for FG inventory levels for the region and manage actions for those materials (liquidating stock, selling to outside parties)
V. Monitor the impact of promotions, competitor activity and other events on sales and ensure that the sales forecasting systems are used effectively
Education Qualification
Graduate in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business/ Engineering with MBA
Relevant Work Experience
3-5 years of experience in sales forecasting/ demand estimation preferably in pharma domain
