With you, you bring at least 10 years of experience in commercial property leasing, 5 of which have been in a managerial position.
Successful track record of leading negotiations with high-level stakeholders, strong analytical skills, and knowledge and understanding of space planning.
You have knowledge of:
How to create synergies among various tenants and retail categories, that ensures a complimentary offer for the customers and a strong commercial tenant mix
The property market; prices, standards, and structures of the retail property market in India.
How to identify, build and maintain trustful relationships with partners in a responsible way, by selling and sharing an idea to collaborate around.
A day in your life with us
Ingka Centres is on an exciting journey where we create and develop Meeting Places, into something way beyond an ordinary shopping centre. As our Country Leasing Manager, you have an important function in this journey by securing the right and most relevant retail partners in our Meeting Places in India and you will make sure we achieve sustainably and maximized revenue growth based on the successful execution of the agreed lease plan.
Moreover, you will:
Actively participate in the Development phase of potential Meeting Places, creating leasing feasibility analyses and projections during the development phase.
Manage the collection of market data including retail and non-retail industries, retailer-specific information, trends on customer spending and behavior, envisioning the future offer that will better answer customer needs.
Analyze and identify the latest trends and deep business insight within the Country to ensure those are brought into business planning ensuring the offer is consistent and coherent to customer needs and increasing the MP attractiveness for the partners.
Participate in country fairs and industry events, promoting Ingka Centres developments and creating awareness and visibility of our brand(s).
Work closely with Legal Team to establish our lease-related documentation that responds to local legislation and our standard requirements.
Oversee the negotiation of all lease agreements with tenants inclusive of letters of intent, leases, renewals, and broker agreements. Interface with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of lease details and approvals.
In this position, you will be based in India, and report to the Sales and Leasing Manager.

As a Country Leasing Manager at Ingka Centres, you will be a part of the Operations Function. The purpose of the Operations function is to optimize the Meeting Place experience for many people and deliver sustainable business growth for our Partners and Meeting Places. Moreover to, achieve operational results, drive efficiency improvements and enhance commercial performance and brand value of the Meeting Places.
