About The Global FA Team
The Global Financial Advisory team is responsible for providing strategic leverage to Global Financial Advisory Leaders to implement long term vison and meet overall business revenue aspiration. The team is responsible for building our Global Financial Advisory footprint in key geographies and working to remove barriers for seamless global client service delivery. The team will help to increase our ability to better serve needs of our most important clients, facilitate growth in client relationships, help prioritize investments, and enhance talent experience. The positions are long term leadership support roles, with opportunities to grow as the Global Office expands. The team sits within the Deloitte Support Services India Pvt. Ltd function of the firm.
About Global FA Growth Team
The Global FA Growth team work on development and execution of Global Growth strategies as well as establishing and strengthening industry/sector communities. The team focuses on providing Global Industry Leaders with detailed analysis on financial performance and strategic recommendations; thereby playing a vital role in firm’s growth. Additionally, requests related to financial reporting, account planning, and leadership presentations.
Work you’ll do
- Support the development of revenue growth plans, strategic plans, and operationalaction items for Leaders
- Create executive leadership presentation materials for leadership meetings and executivecommunication
- Evaluate quantitative as well as qualitative data from multiple sources, decompose high–level information into details and summarize it for Executive level presentation
- Make use of financial reporting tools and company/market databases for presentations and dashboards
- Support the development of executive leadership communications
- Gather and execute requirements, communicate with stakeholders, and proactively provide suggestions to enhance deliverables
- Actively participate in cross-team and cross-business collaboration for adoption of best-practices
- Produce on time, high quality, client-ready deliverables
- Share expertise by conducting knowledge sharing sessions with theteam where applicable
- Report/work under the leadership of USI lead
Key objectives include :
- Support leadership in pursuing industry excellence, client excellence, and sales excellence
- Enhance the client experience through research, analysis andpresentations
- Simplify processes, reduce latency, and removebarrier
- Serve Advisory internal clients with seamless global delivery and expand market opportunities in other countries
- Research about priority clients, sectors, and services acrossgeographies
Qualifications Required:
- MBA preferred; Other relevant master’s degrees and/or certifications will also beconsidered 4-7 years of workexperience in the related field/area
- Experience analyzing large data sets to produce clear, insightful and concise executive level reports
- Demonstrated ability to understand and translate complex concepts into concisesummaries
- Experience in creating presentation materials (PowerPoint, Excel reports & summaries etc.) for the senior leadership
- Strong understanding of business writing, especially with regards to grammar, punctuation, tone of voice, clarity of message, and general aesthetics
- Strong advanced excel skills with an ability to create interactive dashboards
- Basic understanding of the financial statements and analysis of key financial, operational indicators
- Strong analytical (both quantitative and qualitative), problem solving and organizationalskill
- Proactive, self-motivated, and demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Strong attention to detail and workethics
- Extremely strong verbal and written English communicationskills
Additional competencies:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a teamsetting
- Tableau and Salesforce expertise with knowledge on preparation of dashboards and other key updates
- Comfortable communicating to audiences at various levels (e.g., staff throughleadership)
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, address challenges effectively and be adaptable tochange
- Experience developing industry/sector snapshots, Account performance decks, financial summaries,etc
- Exposure to secondary research and familiarity with tools like Hoover, OneSource, Factiva
- Ability to step in client’s shoes and proactively drive discussions
