Market Intelligence Manager

The Market Intelligence Manager will be responsible for operating and optimizing a forecasting model to predict the PC & Server markets by leveraging internal and external data sources. The successful candidate will use their deep understanding of the PC & Server markets to analyze internal and external data inputs to find the most predictive factors to build into the model. In addition to operating the model, the successful candidate will be able to explain the key drivers and assumptions employed in the model as they relate to current and future developments in the PC and Server markets to all levels of the organization. This position requires an expert-level understanding of the PC & Server businesses and the key factors and trends affecting supply and demand in those markets, a power-user level of expertise with Excel & PowerPoint and the ability to present to any level of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and optimize a model that predicts overall PC & Server end user demand by leveraging internal and external data sources
• Gather and synthesize market intelligence input from 3rd party and industry contacts
• Communicate key insights and trends affecting the PC and Server markets to describe model outputs and drivers
• Field requests for market data and insights from Sales, Business Unit, Marketing and Finance and deliver presentation-ready content

Preferred Requirements:

• 7+ Years of work experience in either PC, Server, or related technology company
• Expert knowledge of supply and demand factors affecting the PC and Server markets
• Experience building/optimizing predictive forecasting models
• Experience with market sizing and customer/vertical segmentation
• Strong communication and presentation skills to all levels of the organization
