BU/R&D Expense Analyst

Description and Requirements

• Assist the Global R&D finance leader for the Mobile Business Group ($400M+ budget).
• Co-work with the R&D Finance organization on all activities related to the annual plan, forecast and accounting close activities.
• Focus on reporting and analysis as it relates to onsite labor, prototype material, Tooling, NRE and Occupancy.
• Partner with the BU Expense team to identify cost reduction opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports as required to measure spend by product and by function.
• Track, analyze and report on R&D investments, specifically ROI related to investments.
• Responsible for all R&D Finance Dashboards.
• Ensure the right controls are in place to reduce the overall risk for Motorola.
