- Will be responsible for safe custody of all equipment's in the blood bank.
- Will maintain medical history and test reports of donors to ensure suitability of blood donation.
- Will receive blood in 'blood camps' organized by the hospital or by voluntary organizations.
- Will be responsible for proper storage of blood and blood components.
- Will test haemoglobin level of all blood collected.
- Will carry out blood grouping tests and cross matching tests.
