Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain personal hygiene of the patient(bathing ,mouthwash, pressure points etc)
• Bed making, giving and removing of bedpans, hot water bag, ice bags etc.
• Help and guide patients relatives.
• Ensure attendant visits during visiting hours only.
• Assist in admission and discharge of the patients.
• Ensure adequate infection control & waste management practices.
• Dispatch all type of specimens to concerned lab.
• Maintain aseptic practice in ward.
• Contributing to the routine nursing care of the patients.
• Replace the broken things from the respective stores.
• To ensures that the ward is clean and tidy.
• To assist the Nurses in routine care activities
• To assist the postnatal mothers in Breast feeding and care of new born.
• Escorts patients to the Diagnostic centers.

Compliance to nursing sops and work instructions.

Desired Candidate Profile

Essential: Diploma in nursing recognized by Nursing council of India Must be registered with State/Indian Nursing council.

Preferable: B.Sc. / GNM Degree/BLS/ACLS would be preferred

A Minimum of 1 - 4 years of experience in a Super/Multi Specialty hospital with at least one years experience in ICU.
