Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Internal Communications!

The Internal Communications team leader will build and lead the communications strategy for our Transformation Services, Digital and Cloud, Sales, and Marketing portfolios and carry out internal communication plans to drive awareness and employee engagement.

This team leader will partner closely with C-suite leaders and other senior leaders within the organization to create and implement a coordinated internal communications and engagement strategy. The role will require working with the internal communications team lead, channels manager, and other key stakeholders to design, implement, and track internal communications campaigns/programs aligned with Genpact’s overall communications strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the global business leaders and HR leaders within our Transformation Services, Digital, Cloud, Sales, Growth Ops, and Marketing ecosystems to develop a robust communications strategy and identify, lead, and execute successful communication campaigns.
  • To also drive account-specific communications that arise from transitions (mergers or acquisitions) in different business verticals.
  • Drive communication strategy, planning, and execution on large-scale transformation programs end–to–end and significantly impact adoption and/or awareness of those programs.
  • Partner with the businesses to gather information and craft articles, messages, or newsletters, plan, support, and host townhalls and leadership meetings, and participate in any other employee engagement activities the company may choose
  • Ensure that news, achievements, employee experience initiatives, values-based behavior, and information on the business are collected and promoted on all internal platforms in suitable formats
  • Should have a creative eye and a keen interest in design, visualization, and creation of attractive newsletters and emails.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Experience in a communications team, especially internal communication, for a large business or organization, is most sought after. But the experience of writing for a variety of different audiences is also desired. General journalistic or marketing experience is beneficial.

Minimum qualifications

  • Post Graduate degree is required. MBA in Marketing / MA in Journalism / Mass Comm preferred
  • People/team management
  • A strategic mindset

Preferred qualifications

  • Business understanding: strong ability to understand Genpact’s core business
  • Writing skills: you need excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, as well as the ability to source stories from employees
  • Speaking skills: you also need strong speaking skills and moderate virtual townhalls and dialogues
  • Executive presence: You should have the gravitas and presence to engage and lead conversations with C-suite leaders.
  • Ability to navigate a large matrix and complex organization.
