Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, HMS
Genpact’s Sales & Commercial Service Line is seeking analytical, motivated, collaborative, and entrepreneurial consultants to help continue the growth and development of our firm. We have achieved rapid growth over the last 5 years and have established strategic relationships with some of the largest Consumer Products, Retail, High Tech, and Health & Life Science companies helping them achieve profitable growth.
Our Associate Vice Presidents help plan and deliver engagements related to the efficient and effective growth our clients’ volume/ market share, revenue contribution, and topline profit margin. We assist clients with the development of differentiated plan to cash capabilities dealing with some of the most complex growth obstacles. They lead both small and large teams of high-caliber managers, consultants and Analysts in diagnostic, strategy development and capability implementation projects.
Responsibilities:
- AVPs are responsible for honing their client service and engagement leadership skills while building their client development capabilities. The objective is to be able to progress to the VP and Sr. VP levels where expectations are finding, scoping, selling, and delivering client engagements.
- Under VP or Sr. VP supervision, an AVP typically supervises one (or perhaps two) consultant pyramids, depending on the size and scope of the client engagement.
- Each pyramid is typically comprised of a manager and two Associates/Analysts. AVPs assure the project team is thinking strategically and pragmatically to identify high impact and measurable growth opportunities for our clients and are developing recommendations that are fact-based and supported with proper analyses.
- Additionally, they ensure implementation projects are attaining targets financial and operational impacts.
- They are ultimately responsible for project economics and client communications and relationships. AVPs help project team members develop professional and technical skills and lead in developing and maintaining the firm’s knowledge capital.
Qualifications:
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who want to help us continue to develop and grow a great company. Successful candidates typically have:
- Management consulting experience and relevant industry experience as identified above
- Preferred experience leading both domestic and global profitable growth programs for clients across the following disciplines:
- Customer and distributor segmentation
- Portfolio strategy and implementation
- Product strategy and commercialization planning and implementation
- Digital ad and campaign development and implementation
- B2B marketing operations
- Channel strategy development and implementation
- Revenue Growth Management including channel-based product assortments, pricing, promotion, contract development and terms management
- Marketing investment optimization
- Sales force effectiveness
- Business and operating model design
- Integrated business planning
- Product and service innovation
- Innovation and implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, engineering or similar discipline and an MBA or other advanced degree from a top-tier school
- A proven record of delivering/managing successful strategic and operational consulting engagements related to profitable revenue growth
- A history of developing and sustaining client relationships
- A demonstrated ability and desire to lead engagement teams and develop professional personnel
- The ability to generate new knowledge capital which can be used to expand skills and facilitate new client engagements
- Consulting experience
- Prefer experience in High Tech SaaS and/or Digital Marketing & Media Services Industries
- Experience in any or all of the following:
- Working with High-Tech development, SaaS Sales and Distribution, and/or Digital Marketing and Ad placement/management/optimization
- Capability development and process improvement experience in channel strategy, sales force performance improvement programs, and go-to-market operating model design and implementation
- Customer pricing, CPQ, and rebate/discount management and optimization
- Omnichannel marketing operations, performance improvement programs, and operating model design and implementation
- Inside sales and/or customer service operations, growth optimization programs, and operating model design and implementation
- Lead-to-cash process design and implementation including sales operations and support, customer success and renewals, pricing, contract management, and order management
