Identification of Hazardous activities

Identification of Unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near miss instances

Induction to new employees in all levels

Conduct/organize safety Trainings (internal as well as External)

Conduct Mock drills and report timely

Daily checks @ shop floor

Carryout risk assessment for new activities

Timely revision of existing risk assessment

Any other activity which is pertaining to safety of employee and or equipment.

Statutory:

Renewal of Fire license, Consent for operation (PCB license)

Monitoring the compliance to acts, rules and regulations pertaining to safety & environment

Coordinate with the statutory authorities while their visit to plant

Submitting the statutory reports as per the prescribed timelines

Ensuring 100% statutory compliance and reporting the same to plant management or as required by the plant management

Check for any update or changes in rules and regulations and report to management and change system accordingly

ISO 45001:2018:

Conduct internal audits as per the frequency

Coordinate with the remaining departments for closure of Non conformances

Face external audits (surveillance and recertification)

Train the employees in stabilising and sustaining the ISO 45001:2018 system

Conduct regular awareness trainings

Prepare and maintain documents as per the standard requirement

Others:

Prepare monthly safety reports

Organize safety promotional activities such as National safety day, road safety week, environmental day etc.

Implement activities which promote the safe behavior in employees

Implement reward and recognition for best safety performers, Preparation of check lists and its implementation, Responsible to ensure third party safety inspections in the plant, Preparation of onsite emergency plan and periodical review monitoring to the fire hydrant system and firefighting equipments, Monitoring and supporting plant security team

Workplace implementation, handling External & Internal Safety Audits etc.
