Assistant manager IP Billing

• Responsible for updating of all systems for Tariff changes, any other modification with regards to billing, at a cluster level
• Prepares monthly reports for the Unit Head with detailed reasons for discounts given, discharge bills, credit bills, insurance turn-around time and obtain authorization as required
• Train the team about the new policy details, usage, new consultants fees and all relevant updates

• Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by the Billing Department services
• Responsible for leading the Financial Counseling by the team to the patients/ patient family and friends with appropriate information sharing and guidance to facilitate their decision making
• Accountable for resolving all audit queries for Internal and External audits and keeps all required details of the department audit-ready at any point in time
• Supervise all the discharge bills, check if all billing entries are done (consumables, OT billing), tariffs are entered in the system as per the case-sheets and highlight any mismatch
• Lead payment follow-ups for the outstanding bill amounts with the concerned stakeholders
• Oversees the submission of the Third-Party Assurance claims and handling any queries raised by the TPA team
• Prepares various analytical report on Billing details for the cluster and highlight specific trends/ issues the concerned internal stakeholders
• Manages and ensures compliance with control metrics and objectives

MHA/ B.Com/M.Com

• 7- 9 years of relevant experience in the industry, preferably in Hospitals
• Team Leadership and managerial skills
• Planning, organizing and tracking skills
• Financial acumen and knowledge about billing applications, processes and practices
