This is a key role, supporting the finance team at Nektar Therapeutics, reporting to the Executive Director, Operations. Primarily, the position is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the team, providing general office management, and meeting and event coordination support.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures that Executive’s productivity is enhanced by managing calendars and schedules
- Performs administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and scheduling of appointments, meetings, and conference calls
- Accurately records minutes from meetings
- Creation of draft PowerPoint presentations and other presentations as needed
- Serve as primary point of contact with external parties as required
- Responsible for providing administrative updates of business activities to site leadership
- Support monthly payroll activities
- Participate in quarterly and annual audits activities as required
- Work is completed with minimal supervision, assignments are of the highest quality, and follow-through is outstanding
- Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, the ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work independently with initiative
- Foster and maintain strong working relationships within all levels of the company, senior leadership, outside vendors and contacts
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience as an Admin is required. Must have proven track record of supporting senior level executives. Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and act quickly and professionally. Excellent working knowledge in MS-Office is a must. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills are required. Experience of working in a MNC set up will be given preference.
