  • Lead and manage Tier N supply chain data gathering, risk detection and mitigation before they manifest into a supply disruption
  • \n
  • Collaborate cross functionally (Purchasing MPL) and operate as ONE Centre of Excellence (COE) Team and leverage Digital tools within Ford to progress Ford ability to mitigate Tier N issues

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and guide team to uncover Tier 1 supplier network relationships via various Value stream activities for identified targeted commodities and suppliers 
  • \n
  • Strategize and align on expanding value stream to other programs and commodities to increase network visibility
  • \n
  • Implement VSM data compliance and completeness as part of launch (GPDS) deliverables for forward model programs
  • \n
  • Support team to execute the "Risk Mitigation Framework" of scanning, profiling developing supply protection plans to mitigate uncertainty
  • \n
  • Monitor and evaluate teams’ ability to triage daily events signals with category, commodity network data to arrive at insights and use them to scan categories commodities for emerging risks
  • \n
  • Monitor profiled risks, analysis and findings for targeted risk alerts are dispositioned for further actions and lead for closure
  • \n
  • Leverage supply chain / purchasing knowledge expertise to pro-actively screen Suppliers commodities with macro and micro economic perspectives
  • \n
  • Track team adherence to escalation protocol for supplier noncompliance. Measure and monitor teams performance via metrices
  • \n
  • Represent in leadership forums for executive report out and required support.
  • \n
  • Engage closely with IT team to ensure accurate data is ingested to repository in timely manner
  • \n
  • Collaborate with IT on supply chain digitization program for N Tier digital tools
  • \n
  • Factor optimal utilization of resources and fair workload distribution for operational excellence
  • \n
  • Focus on versatility improvement and development of team members.
  • \n
