Roles and Responsibilities

1) Design and development of laser welding & cutting process, microscopic and macro analysis of laser welded samples, measurement and analysis on the part mechanical property.

2) Design and development of laser cladding and other additive manufacturing process like SLM, microscopic and macro analysis of test specimens, measurement and analysis on the part mechanical property.

3) Designing of experiments for optimizing the laser welding/cladding process parameters.

4) Design of welding process as per ISO 15609, 15614 WPS, WPQ standards for final production

5) Handling of inverted type microscope for weld sample analysis.

6) Offline and online programming of industrial robots.

7) Providing cost analysis and cost studies for project inquiries.

8) Documentation and presentation of relevant technical data.

9) Maintaining clean and safe working environment.

10) Support the Engineers from other departments in research and development activities

Desired Candidate Profile

1) Good written and oral communication skills.

2) Confident, proactive character, ability to take the lead in challenging situations, good communication skills, dealing with other employees and external clients.

3)Ability to work tight deadlines

4) Having good experience in Laser Welding and Cutting Industry. Should handle Fanuc, ABB, Staubli, KUKA etc. robots.
