What you’ll achieve
As a Business Operations Payment Advisor, you will collaborate with our customers to define business requirements while providing solutions and tools that strengthen our business payment processes. You will define objectives based on end-user needs and identify the organization's strengths, finding ways to optimize payment transaction approval rates, lower payment acceptance costs and increase payment capture success rates. In addition, analyzing and summarize transaction data, advise on and coordinate payment related projects, and assist our sales support and other internal teams with payment processing related inquiries. This role focuses on having an investigative/analytical eye, collecting information and using logic to solve abstract problems.

You will:

  • Ensure payments programs are successful and operate flawlessly by working with internal teams and external providers
  • Enhance processing efficiency, reduce operating costs, launch new capabilities, streamline processes, enhance payments related customer experiences, and support the payments related needs of the company
  • Assist with the launch and ongoing operations of critical programs and initiatives and identify and implement operational improvements
  • Be able to identify opportunities/issues/gaps with existing and new payment features and processes and work with appropriate teams across the Organization
  • Help develop and maintain tracking and reporting systems to measure, analyze, manage, and communicate operations performance and trends
  • Communicate empathetically with Customers and other stakeholder and confidently with 3rd party services when required.
  • Utilize all tools and resources to ensure the accuracy of the payments process and rectify any inaccuracies or errors discovered.
  • Measure, track, and communicate data on loss, fees, and chargebacks on a regular basis. Work cooperatively with other Payments and Risk teammates to recognize trends and update our systems accordingly
  • Evaluate current processes and suggest any appropriate improvements to increase efficiency and better the customer experience

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field ​with a total experience of 5+ years and A Minimum of 2 years in the payments industry is required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and present at senior leadership levels​
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products​, Strong communication, problem solving and presentation skills​
  • Knowledge in global payment and merchant regulations. Detail oriented​,Strong business acumen​
  • Prior experience as an Implementation Consultant or Professional Services Consultant ,eCommerce knowledge and experience, including the functioning of shopping carts and eCommerce applications

Desirable Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a business or technical field
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentation/visual)​ , Project or program management experience​
