Amazon Fresh is Amazon's basket building grocery services offering a broad selection including the highest quality fruits and vegetables, perishables and a complete range of grocery products. The program is highly cross-functional in nature and requires a number of India-first solutions to be created. To drive our growth, we are looking for a Business Analyst who will be focused on supporting profitability and speed improvement initiatives. You should have excellent business and communication skills and be able to work with business owners to develop and define operational goals and metrics. Key job responsibilities
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
• Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve marketing campaign targeting and measurement in the future
• Analyze and solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities
• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
• Communicating complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years relevant experience in financial/business analysis
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
• Experience with SQL
• Experience in Excel

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field

• 4+ years of professional experience in analytics, business analysis or comparable consumer analytics position

• Advanced working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL, data warehouse as well as Excel

• Demonstrated experience in preparing and executing presentations of technical and business level data

• Proven problem solving skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analysis role
• Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling concept and building new DW tables
• Working knowledge of R/ Python and other analytics platforms
