Job Details

Job Description -
. Generating functional financial data for use in management reporting
. Ensuring all data produced out of FC is accurate and reconciled
. Aggregating functional/pillar/product/country management information per the aggregation requirements laid out by onshore teams
. Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting that measure financial performance
. Producing first level analysis on all reporting produced out of FC
. Identify enhancements or improvements to process, driving standardization and process efficiency
. Ensure 100% trained all process and also cross trained as well
. Maintenance of effective internal controls


Skills Required -
. Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; including presentation skills
. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and customers
. Ability to manage resource and provide guidance on the process & growth
. Requires an understanding financial reporting including budgeting and forecasts; willingness and ability to learn the businesses being supported
. Customer centric with a focus on right first time, on time
. Flexibility and ability to adapt to change; ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment driving for improvements and change
. Significant and complex financial analysis of business plans
. Good time management skills – ability to handle multiple priorities, organise work and meet deadlines
. Understanding of financial services industry including current issues, trends and developments, preferably insurance
. Ability to work in dynamic environment driving for improvements and change
. Must be comfortable working within a highly matrix organizational structure.
. Business / Finance degree, post-graduate preferred, with 10+ years experience
. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
. Advanced knowledge of Excel; working knowledge of Power Point; Database management preferred.
. Ability to develop productive relationships with peer groups within Finance and all levels of the organization with a customer service/focus
. Experience with financial systems/applications; SAP preferred
. Fluent in English

Tenure - 18 months in current role.
Grade – Grade 18/19
